Reservoir Dog Sportive 2021

Marianne Kavanagh took on the Reservoir Dog Sportive in Blessington, County Wicklow. The event bringing cyclists together for a challenging and scenic day on the roads around the Wicklow Mountains.

The event is well known for its rolling terrain and spectacular views around the Blessington Lakes, offering riders a mix of steady climbs, fast descents and quiet country roads. It is a route that rewards both endurance and pacing, with the Wicklow landscape providing a stunning backdrop throughout the day.

This event carried a little extra meaning for Marianne as it was completed alongside her Dad. Sharing the miles together made the day all the more memorable.

A well organised event in a beautiful part of the country and another memorable day of cycling on the Irish sportive calendar.
