The route winds its way through high mountain passes, technical trails and long sustained climbs, with runners facing challenging terrain throughout the day and into the night. The combination of distance, elevation and altitude makes Lavaredo a demanding test of endurance, pacing and resilience.

Along the course runners are rewarded with some of the most breathtaking scenery in the Alps, passing beneath towering rock formations and dramatic ridgelines that make the Dolomites such a famous destination for mountain sport.

Completing an event of this scale requires months of preparation and a strong ability to manage effort across many hours of racing. Finishing in 17 hours and 35 minutes is a fantastic performance on such a challenging course.
