Sydney Harbour 10k

Carlingford runner Mickey Maguire recently took on the Sydney Harbour 10k, completing the race along one of the most scenic running routes in Australia. The event attracts thousands of participants each year and is set against the spectacular backdrop of Sydney Harbour, making it a popular race for both competitive runners and recreational athletes.

Starting near the historic Rocks district, the course winds its way along the harbour foreshore, passing landmarks such as Darling Harbour and Barangaroo before finishing back near Circular Quay. The flat and fast route offers stunning views of the harbour throughout, but also encourages runners to push the pace from the opening kilometres.

With thousands of runners on the course and crowds lining sections of the harbourfront, the race delivered a memorable experience as well as a solid performance from Mickey over the distance.
