AHU Controls Upgrade
We recently completed a full custom control system upgrade for 5 AHUs, a project that came with its fair share of challenges.
One of the biggest hurdles was a lack of schematic drawings or system documentation for the old setup.
Reverse engineering the existing setup was essential to ensure a smooth transition, but the results were worth the effort.
Key Upgrades Included
☑️ PID based control logic Ensures room temperature remains locked to the chosen setpoint, reducing temperature fluctuations and improving comfort
☑️ Gas burner flame modulation control with high and low limits provide optimized energy use, reducing excess gas consumption while maintaining a stable comfortable environment
☑️ Fully custom built solution, we designed both the controller program and the HMI interface from the ground up to meet the custom system requirements
☑️ Remote connectivity – The system can now be accessed and monitored off site providing
